Before becoming an agent, I spent over 15 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), traveling to hospitals, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and private homes. I saw the reality of what happens when families aren’t prepared for the unexpected—when illness strikes, or when life ends without a plan in place.

I’ve cared for countless seniors in heartbreaking conditions, many living their final days in overcrowded nursing facilities because they couldn’t afford better options. The truth is, getting sick might not happen to all of us—but unfortunately, death will. And what we do now determines how peacefully our loved ones live later.

My own family wasn’t spared from this reality. When my father became ill, my mother had to let his life insurance policy lapse because she simply couldn’t afford the premiums. When he passed, we lost not only a beloved father but also nearly half a million dollars in benefits that could’ve changed our lives forever. That loss became my wake-up call.

Years later, through Cherished Homecare, I’ve witnessed again how finances often dictate the quality of care families receive. We’ve had to turn away clients or discontinue services because they couldn’t afford the help they desperately needed. Those moments never got easier—they fueled my purpose.

That’s why I founded Cherished Assurance—to help families protect what truly matters before it’s too late. My mission is to make life insurance easy to understand, affordable to access, and rooted in compassion. I don’t just sell policies; I teach families how to safeguard their futures with dignity, so they never face what my family—and so many others—had to endure.
